Broadmor Window Replacement
Replacement windows, energy-efficient glass and patio doors for Broadmor homes.
Broadmor is a postwar central Tempe neighborhood with ranch homes, big trees and irrigated lawns close to Arizona State University.
Many Broadmor homes are on their first or second set of windows. Owners usually want better glass for the summer without changing the character of a mid-century ranch.
Whether a window job needs a City of Tempe permit depends on the scope. Swapping a window into the same opening is a different job from cutting a wall to make an opening wider or adding a new door. Tempe's Building Safety division says minor single-family projects may be eligible for over-the-counter plan review and permitting (480-350-4311), and permit questions go to permitcenter@tempe.gov. We confirm what your project needs before anything is ordered.
