Tempe Vinyl Windows
Vinyl sliders, single-hung and fixed windows that never need paint.
Vinyl is the most common frame we install in Tempe. The frames have insulated chambers inside, they don't need painting, and they come in sizes made to fit the openings older aluminum windows leave behind.
Horizontal sliders and single-hung windows are the usual replacements for original aluminum windows, so the look of the house stays the same while the glass and seals improve.
Color matters in the desert. White and almond are the classic choices, and darker exterior colors are available on frames made to handle the extra heat a dark surface absorbs.

| Vinyl | Fiberglass | |
|---|---|---|
| Insulation | Good, with chambered frames | Good, with a stable frame |
| Dark colors | Choose a heat-rated finish | Handles dark colors well |
| Upkeep | No paint needed | Paintable, low upkeep |
| Best for | Most replacement projects | Large or dark-framed windows |
Quality vinyl frames are made for hot climates. For dark colors or very large windows, we may suggest a frame with a heat-rated finish or fiberglass instead.
